Get Out SF is a day-long hiking event created for people who feel stuck in the city and need a chance to reconnect with the outdoors. The event encourages participants to step away from their daily routines, get out of their heads, and immerse themselves in nature.
This project began with a deep dive into ideation and branding, where I explored how to visually and emotionally communicate the idea of escape, rejuvenation, and community. I developed a cohesive brand identity centered around movement, mindfulness, and exploration.
From there, I designed a microsite that serves as both an informational hub and an invitation to adventure. The UX/UI emphasizes bold typography and inviting/exciting colors, allowing users to easily learn about the event, sign up for hikes, invite their friends and feel inspired to get outdoors. Through this process, I was able to combine storytelling, design systems, and user experience strategy to bring Get Out SF to life.
