Most known for his work on the NYC Subway map, Massimo Vignelli is an Italian graphic and product designer and architect, from whom I find a lot of inspiration. I researched, designed, printed, and produced an accordion book of his most notable works and words. It is essential to point out the use of the Helvetica font in this accordion book. I chose to do this because Vignelli was responsible for a lot of the branding/popularization of the typeface.
The most impactful aspect of this project was curating the accordion book itself. As I held it in my hands,
I could see my work come to life, reminding me why I design.
